Accessibility Statement

I (Amanda Marples, trading as Reconcile Creative) am committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. I will always aim to improve the user experience for everyone and to apply the relevant accessibility standards to the best of my ability. 

 

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. reconcilecreative.com is regularly scanned using an accessibility wizard and fixes are applied accordingly wherever possible to ensure that the site is compliant by:

• Providing text alternatives for non-text elements, 

• Ensuring colour contrast and visibility passes the current test standard, 

• Ensuring the site is generally easy to navigate

• Ensuring the language is readable and understandable 

• Removing any flickering or repetitive images 

 

However, reconcilecreative.com is fully operated by me, and I am not a tech expert. As such, there may be parts of the site that do not fully conform to the guidelines without my knowledge, therefore reconcilecreative.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level A. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. I am however committed to continued improvement and promise to attend training and updates on digital accessibility at least annually.
